More than 125 exchange organizations sponsor over 30,000 international high school students in the U.S. every year and all of those students need loving host families during their study abroad term. If you are interested in hosting an exchange student, click your area below to get more information on any students that may still be available for host families. To ensure the safety of the exchange students, federal regulations prohibit us from listing specific information on available foreign students in a public forum, however we are allowed to send information to families that request it. Federal law requires that prospective host families MUST have a completed criminal background check on file before additional information may be sent.

Exchange student organizations are Department of State and CSIET approved. Certification on file. J-1 or F-1 visas issued to all exchange students. Host families volunteer to host a student. U.S. Department of State requires all host family members 18+ living with a foreign exchange student to submit to a criminal background check.
